And, maybe, those bodies weren't alien after all.

While searching through NASA photos, I came across this Bat like UFO in the Mercury Mission MA-7 photos. This missions goals was to make 3 earths orbits before coming home. It was launched on May 22, 1962. We are looking at a very balanced looking craft from the top view. It stands out a lot from the clouds far below it. If you don't believe me, please check the NASA source in the link above. The coloration of the UFO is white to match the clouds for anyone looking up...but stands out because it so far above the clouds. SCW
I also found four photos with a blurred cross in the window...which makes me wonder if the astronaut hung up his necklace in the window for good luck, see photos below.
Here's an interesting thing. I was watching "Alien"and in the beginning, after they have been awakened by the computer, they assume they have arrived back home, more or less. Veronica Cartwright, as Lambert, is sitting in front of a computer screen that was probably high tech in the late 1970s but is no longer, and says, "That's not our system."
They attempt to contact Antarctica control (which, given this situation, is probably hours away by radio, given the speed of light) and receives no answer. Sigourney Weaver, as Ripley, then says, "That's not our system."
Lambert says, "I know that."
But, and this is the part relevant to us here, she says, "It's Zeta II Reticuli."
Of all the systems out there, why pick this one. And, which came first, Marjorie Fish's discovery about the Betty Hill Star Map, or "Alien".
That question is simple to answer. Marjorie Fish. The information was published in 1976 or about three years before Alien was released. Rather than the movie contaminating the search for the stars in Betty Hill's map, it seems that Fish's work came first.
And I would venture to say that someone with the production company at some level knew this. They needed the name of a star system and this one was available and easy to pronounce. It was just another one of those little inside jokes that are spread through most movies.
It also shows how deep some of the information about UFOs can penetrate into pop culture. I suspect that most people would pick up on the reference, but some of us did. The fact that it was used at all is the interesting part of this, but proves nothing about the really of Fish's interpretation of the Star Map...
Oh, and I think it warns us not to go near that star system. Zeta I Reticuli might be safe but certainly not Zeta II.

No, it is not Bigfoot but as this writer makes quite clear, it is a giant sloth making his appearance on camera. This is very good news, not least because it was identified.
As my readers know, I have identified and collected several reports as of a giant sloth in the Appalachians except for one in the mountains of California. It was getting pretty lonely as no one else caught on. Here we have an excellent shot although sadly we are missing the face.
This is actually very good news. It should be possible to locate these creatures and trap them for study. They like cadavers and bury them lightly to produce a large crop of maggots. Plus they occupy hunting ranges meaning they can be targeted.
Bigfoot unfortunately is a past master of avoiding us and will not be easily enticed unless trust is built up. In this way they more resemble us and know we are dangerous.

"Every once in a while, even we are confounded and bewildered by the results of one of our own investigations. Our analysis of the shaggy cryptid caught on a trail cam in Virginia is one such example. The image of this mysterious creature, recently released by Roger William, has been creating quite a buzz around the Bigfoot and cryptozoology community in recent days, stumping even the most experienced cryptozoologists, and we believe that we may have solved the mystery of this creature's identity."
On August 27, the Bigfoot Evidence blog sought the opinion of Bizarre Zoology's Jay Cooney, who surmised:
"While the animal's stretched forelimb and apparent long hair made me wonder if this could be an actual wood ape, other features of its anatomy make it clear what its identity truly is. Its hind limbs/hind quarters make it obvious that this is a habitual quadruped, as they lack the hallmarks of biped anatomy such as calves and prominent gluteals. Simple comparative anatomy with black bears will reveal that the animal exhibits the hind limbs and feet of a bear, rather than those of a hominid. "
Cooney's analysis has been echoed by several other researchers, who also tend to favor the theory that the Viginia trail cam creature is a quadruped. We at Journal of the Bizarre also agree with this fact; however, we believe that the creature in question is not a bear, but aground sloth- an extinct quadruped mammal which last roamed North America 11,000 years ago.
"One critical aspect which researchers seem to have overlooked is the enormous tail, which has apparently been mistaken as the creature's hind leg. However, a close look of the photo reveals that the creature's left hind leg is in front of the tree limb on the ground. As you can see by the following photo, the creature's legs appear to be straddling the fallen tree limb."
Once this is distinctive anatomical feature has been recognized, the pool of possible "suspects" shrinks considerably, so considerably, in fact, that the ground sloth is the only possibility.
Another tell-tale clue is provided by Bigfoot researcher Rick Jacobs, who states that the creature appears to have fingers, which are grasping the base of the tree limb. This would obviously rule out the prevailing theory among cryptozoologists that the creature is a bear. Sloths, on the other hand, have elongated claws used for gripping branches (much like in the trail cam picture) which could easily be mistaken for fingers. The elongated arms also point to the tree sloth.
The final giveaway is the animal's fur, which appears to be more "shaggy" than that of a bear or a primate. Of all the possible "suspects", the fur most closely resembles that of living species of tree sloths (the much-smaller tree-dwelling cousin of the ground sloth).
But how could this Virginia "Bigfoot" be an animal long believed to be extinct? Our very own Marlin Bressi, crytozoologist and paranormal researcher, offers his opinion:
"Scientists believe that the North American ground sloth was hunted to extinction by humans roughly ten to eleven thousand years ago. Unlike a species wiped out by a cataclysmic event, whose extinction cannot be questioned, species which have been made 'extinct' by the hand of man have a long history of re-appearing in the natural world. Scientists refer to these animals as 'Lazarus species'. Examples of these include the Arakan forest turtle of Asia and the Javan elephant of Southeast Asia. Whenever an animal is said to have been hunted to extinction, the possibility of a few surviving members escaping from their predators always remains."
He also points out that fossilized remains of the North American ground sloth Megalonyx are frequently found in Alaska, British Columbia, and the Pacific Northwest- geographic locations long associated with Bigfoot. Another smaller species, Pliometanastes protistus, also inhabited the southern United States. Based on fossil evidence, experts believe that the Megalonyx ground sloths were capable of growing as large as elephants.
"The interesting thing about sloths is their ability to vocalize," Bressi adds. "Since we have no examples of ground sloth vocalization, we can only speculate that the vocalization would sound like that of a tree sloth, but much louder and deeper based on it's size in relation to it's much smaller cousin. The chirps and whoops and growls of the tree sloth, interestingly, are not wholly different from that of Bigfoot. I believe it would be erroneous to imply that all Bigfoot creatures are ground sloths, but the trail cam photo from Virginia shows an animal which I strongly believe is a species of ground sloth."
"One question I am frequently asked is, 'If Bigfoot does exist, why haven't any bones been dug up?' Well, bones of ground sloths are dug up all the time, so that may help shed some light on that mystery. In fact, if not for ground sloths, the world of paleontology may look quite different today. In 1796, Thomas Jefferson read a paper he had written on ground sloths to the American Philosophical Society, which in turn sparked the golden age of paleontology in America."
Bressi isn't the only person who thinks ground sloths might still be alive; at the onset of the Lewis and Clark expedition, President Jefferson instructed Meriwether Lewis to keep an eye out for ground sloths, believing that some of these creatures were still living in the Northwest.

There are people who speak about a shining light very low and like a star. Okay first I would like to say I have no idea what this was. I can only go by my memory of the event. But the event is still very vivid in my memory. I have never told anyone else about this but my wife. There was only 1 other witness to this phenomenon and unfortunately she passed away in 1999. I only asked her about it one time in my life about this indecent and that was in 1998 I think it was in Sept/Oct of that year. For many years I thought that what I experienced was a dream until me and her talked. She was my cousin and she also experienced what happened. This happened I think it was in 1989 or 1990 I can't be sure. But me and my cousin her name was Aleshia was at a playground that was down the hill and behind her home in a place called the West End housing community. Where the playground stood there is now a home. The entire Housing project was tore down and rebuilt in 2004. It was a warm Summer day and it was approximately 8pm. Me and my cousin were sitting on a set of swings just talking and swinging back and forth. There was a basketball court about 30 feet from the playground. A couple of older kids that lived 4 houses down from my cousin were setting up a ramp made with 2x4's and a concrete cinder-block. They were riding a dirt bike and jumping the ramp. There was 3 of them. I didn't know them personally or know their names. I also have no idea if they experienced what me and my cousin experienced or not. As I was swinging I leaned my head back and that's when I first noticed it. In the distance across the railroad yard was a ball of light and it was rapidly changing colors. It looked to be at a good distance away but within about 5 seconds it was directly in front of us. The glowing ball was about the size of a basketball maybe a little bigger. Me and my cousin both stopped swinging immediately and began to gaze at this object. For some reason she said nothing to me and I said nothing to her. We both were not afraid. I asked her in 1998. Honestly I can't tell you what I was feeling because I felt nothing different then I normally did. As this ball of light hovered about 2 feet off the ground it slowly moved closer to us. I could have reached out and touched it if I wanted to that's how close it was. It was changing colors the entire time. I couldn't tell you all the colors it flashed because there was so many. The ball proceeded to circle in between us and around us 2 times. As this was happening we both didn't move or say a word. It wasn't because we couldn't. I don't know how to explain it. It was like we just didn't seem to care. We didn't follow it with our eyes or anything. The object came back in front of us and suddenly there was a flash of light like a flash of a camera. Then it was gone. For some strange reason neither one of us didn't even acknowledge what just happened. I did notice that right before the flash the sun was just starting to set. Now it was almost dark. We both looked at each other and said our goodbye's and started our way home. My house was only 1 minute away. When I reached my home I seen the clock said 9:12. I remember when I left my house it was right before 8pm. The playground was only a minute away. So i figured about 45 minutes had passed since we seen the ball of light. Me and her had no recollection of where those minutes had went. The guys riding the dirt-bike had packed up there ramp and was gone. Neither of us remember seeing them leave. Back in 1998 was the first time I ever mentioned it to her and even before I could finish my question she finished it for me. She looked at me with big eyes and said I thought that was a dream I had. Well that's what i tried to convince myself all these years,but it wasn't once we compared notes we were both stunned. She was in the process of leaving to go get her daughter during this discussion. She told me we would talk about it at another time because she said she was now scared. Well we really didn't see each other that much and before I got to talk to her about it she died in a car accident. Now over the years I have never mentioned this no anyone. I just thought people would call me crazy. I don't have any memories of anything that happened during our lost time. But as a child before this incident I use to have some crazy night experiences. One thing that I remember was I use to hear knocking in the corner of my house on the roof. I thought maybe it was just my imagination,but this also happened at my grandmother's house also. The knocking was very loud and clear and the last time I remembered it happening was in 1997 at my grandmothers. Well about 8 months ago I told my wife about all of this. And I swear on my child about 2 or 3 days later we heard very distinct knocking in the corner of our bedroom at her parents house where we live. There is more stuff that had happened to me when I was a child but I really couldn't type it all. So that's mt story do what you want with ti but it's the truth and I ain't crazy or lying.
