1. THE FOO FIGHTERS
During the Second World War, all those involved in the war reported seeing glowing orbs following them or right in front of them. All camps could not explain the sightings. Later on, the orbs became known as the "foo fighters".
2. FELIX MONCLA DISAPPEARING INTO THIN AIR
Felix Moncla, an Air Force Pilot from the United States was pursuing a UFO when he disappeared. The pilot was over the Canadian border according to 1953 reports. Ground control officials were reportedly able to see the UFO and Moncla's plane merge on the radar screen and then vanished.
3. THE KECKSBURG INCIDENT
Kecksburg, Pennsylvania claimed that on December 9, 1965, a large object crashed in the woods. By December 10, the residents found out that it was an acorn-shaped object. It had symbols written on its sides. The U.S. military surrounded the area that day.
By the year 2005, NASA gave the residents of Kecksburg an explanation. They said it fell from a satellite operated by Russia.
Witnesses to the incident claim however that the explanation did not match with what they saw.
4. THE GRINNING MAN
The Grinning Man was allegedly first spotted in 1966 after a UFO sighting in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The man, who resembled a human being, reportedly did not have a nose or ears. He only had eyes and his face plastered with a conspicuous grin.
Other reports of the Grinning Man being seen in the United States came out after that. Witnesses who saw him said that he is called Indrid Cold.
5. THE UFO AT O'HARE AIRPORT
12 airline employees saw on November 7, 2006 that a UFO was hovering above one of O'Hare Airport's departure gates. It said to have hovered over the area for two minutes.
6. MEN IN BLACK
Six doughnut-shaped UFOs were seen hovering above Maury Island located in Washington. One of the objects allegedly dropped debris killing a dog and injuring a seaman's son. The seaman later claimed that a man in black showed up in his home and threatened him about the incident.

It almost looked like a someone learning to drive because of the sudden changes. The object went from the south over Denair to the east a bit and then north to about Hickman and then off eastward. I have seen my share of strange here in the valley of California. This may just have been something new from area 51. Who knows. MEANWHILE, NORTHROP GRUMMAN HAVE COMPLETED THEIR LUNAR LANDER STUDY ON BEHALF OF THE GOLDEN SPIKE COMPANY NO GO TO THE MOON: In the wake of the Columbia tragedy, the Vision For Space Exploration (VSE) provided NASA with a roadmap to retire the Space Shuttle fleet after the assembly of the International Space Station (ISS) was completed, prior to focusing on a return to the surface of the Moon via the Constellation Program (CxP). "Moon, Mars and Beyond" was the goal, with a return to the Lunar surface classed as a required stepping stone on the path to Mars. Following the demise of the Constellation Program, the focus switched to missions to visit a Near Earth Asteroid (NEA), before once again taking aim on what has consistently been NASA's big goal of sending humans to Mars.This new roadmap is still - and is likely to remain for some time - under construction, with only Exploration Mission -1 (EM-1) all-but set in stone for the debut launch of the Space Launch System (SLS), sending an uncrewed Orion on a fly-by of the Moon in 2017. Exploration Mission -2 (EM-2) was to be tasked with a crewed version of EM-1, on a slightly longer mission that allowed for several orbits of the Moon. However, that mission has since been re-purposed into an ambitious flight of an Orion crew to "get hands on" with a captured asteroid.The following missions for SLS and Orion remain undefined, with the SLS manifest to 2032 (L2) only showing placeholders for one SLS launch per year, as the vehicle evolves from its 70mT capability, through to 105mT and eventually its fully evolved state as a 130mT capable Heavy Lift Launch Vehicle (HLV), required for what NASA claim will be missions to Mars in the mid-2030s. It is likely NASA will undertake yet more ambitious NEA missions in the mid 2020s, venturing further out into deep space, as they validate the technology required for keeping a crew alive on missions lasting hundreds of days.There also remains the possibility NASA will further evaluate the potential for an Exploration Platform, or Gateway, constructed at the ISS and sent out via Solar Electric Propulsion (SEP) to the EML2 location. Per the issues, almost all related to NASA's restrictive budget, General Bolden recently provided one example as to why NASA won't be returning to the Moon, namely the apparent cost of the Lander. During the Constellation Program, the lander - known as Altair - was already into the planning stages at the related NASA centers. However, Altair died, along with its launch vehicle - the Ares V - when CxP ended. After being asked about the possibility of inserting lunar surface sorties into the exploration roadmap at a recent congressional hearing, General Bolden made the claim it would cost NASA between 8-10 billion to resurrect Altair through to the point of achieving lunar landings with it. With the goal of raising 7-8 billion - an amount that would fund all the required systems development and integration, a careful multi-mission flight test series, and a healthy level of project reserves - Golden Spike made their plans known to the public last December. The announcement included notional graphics, including a sporty looking hardware, before revealing they had arranged a feasibility study into a new commercial lunar lander, an effort that has been undertaken by Northrop Grumman Corporation. That study was completed this week, with Northrop Grumman providing an overview of their lunar expedition architecture that includes a novel new, low-mass ascent stage concept dubbed "Pumpkin." After evaluating 180 lunar lander cases for various options and sensitivities - including loiter, staging, propellants, engines, surface duration, surface cargo and technology basis - the study determined that a set of options, using a minimalist pressurized ascent pod and descent stage with a surface habitat, was shown to be viable. The study also showed the minimalist ascent pod with surface habitat concept could fit inside a five-meter diameter fairing payload envelope. "This concept has significant operability advantages for surface exploration since the surface habitat can be segmented to isolate lunar dust and provides more space for living and for selecting the most valuable lunar return samples," noted Martin McLaughlin, Northrop Grumman's study lead. "We affectionately call the minimalist ascent pod 'Pumpkin' because of its spherical shape and because it returns the crew to orbit after the surface exploration party." The study also determined there are numerous options for cryogenic propellants, when compared with storable propellants, but that multiple storable propellant options are possible. Options with cryogenic propellants have higher performance, but are more difficult to contain for the GSC mission duration than storable propellants, such as those used in the Apollo program. "Northrop Grumman has done an exemplary job and helped advance Golden Spike's technical approach to renewed human lunar exploration," added Mr. Stern. "The study's results are very exciting and will help enable a new wave of human lunar exploration that Golden Spike plans." Initially thought it was plane, as have not observed satellites so large. Considered the plausibility of object being satellite sufficiently low, even though event was an hour or so after sunset, and satellites moving from SW to NE may be readily observed at that time. Aircraft, blinking lights and all, were observed over city while event occurred. Object did not change in appearance. Object changed bearing about half way through event from NE to ENE. Object was huge/bright. Elapsed time seemed a couple of minutes, so was likely 60-80+ seconds.

The theory first surfaced with author John Keel about fifteen years ago although he was off base quite a bit, but in the mid 90s "Popular Mechanics" got very close indeed. Not quite there, but nearly. It is an interesting exercise to go back and read their piece again. They obviously had contacts.
And others have been there too. It's been looked at, tossed around, laughed at, dismissed, and generally considered very unlikely. It will be a little harder to discard this time though. Nick presents new witness testimony and documentation and the way he pulls it all together is impressive. What is also interesting is the manner in which the story came to him. From two different separate strands, separated by five years.
So the truth has been out there, of sorts, for a while. They have told us. They just didn't tell us they were telling us.
There is bound to be controversy caused by Nick's conclusions and perhaps even mocking, and it would be na"ive to expect otherwise. A lot of people are going to be disturbed by this. A lot of people have given their ufological professional lives to pursuing a particular aspect of Roswell or a particular case and all will be deeply affected and that should not be under estimated. The controversy will be welcomed. There are bound to be rough edges to Nick's story here and there and possible occasional inaccuracies but it is unlikely they will undermine the core of his account. But Nick would welcome the interest and input of other researchers, without question. He hopes that people will go out and check up on what he has written for them selves, and possibly even take the story further. His narrative also opens up many other potential avenues of research.
If people accept what he has written and fully comprehend the consequences, then the affects will take time to filter through. The details, although a lot, you will take on board. It's the digestion process afterwards where the pain might come.
Most of you though will be disappointed, but, we cannot hide from the truth. Nick has, quite frankly, done us an enormous favour and I consider this to be, unquestionably, the most important book in relation to Ufology for a very, very long time. Possibly ever.

Doesn't that year have an interesting sound to it? I was raised to be somewhat superstituous, with interesting habits such as never washing clothes on New Year's Day (as you could wash a loved one out of your life... well, better safe than sorry, right?). I never really minded numbers though, as numerology just doesn't make any sort of sense to my mind, and the number 13 seems just like most others to me, only special perhaps because it's Prime.

What sets these jet streams on their meandering paths-and sometimes makes them blast Florida and other warm places with frigid air-are their encounters with slow-moving waves in Earth's atmosphere, called Rossby waves.
In contrast, Jupiter's jet streams "HAVE ALWAYS APPEARED TO BE STRAIGHT AND NARROW," says co-author John Rogers, who is the Jupiter Section Director of the British Astronomical Association, London, U.K., and one of the amateur astronomers involved in this study.
Rossby waves were identified on Jupiter about 20 years ago, in the northern hemisphere. Even so, the expected meandering winds could not be traced directly, and no evidence of them had been found in the southern hemisphere, which puzzled planetary scientists.
To get a more complete view, the team analyzed images taken by NASA's Voyager spacecraft, NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, and Cassini, as well as a decade's worth of observations made by amateur astronomers and compiled by the JUPOS project.
