In 1997 Phoenix, Arizona became the home to the largest mass UFO sighting ever recorded. There are over 10,000 eye witnesses to this event. It made international headlines and was a huge news story back then. The day after this sighting the Governor of Arizona tried to play it off as a joke and said that the government had found the culprits, bringing in 2 men in alien costumes. In recent interviews and documentaries the Governor of Arizona has come out to say that they played it off as a joke at the time it happened because they had no explanation for it and to this day there is no explanation for it. This documentary on the whole mass UFO sighting in Phoenix really sparked my interest in the subject. I remember watching the reports of this on the news back in 1997. It's crazy to think about.
