These are not the most sophisticated questions and statements in the world. But they are exciting ones, and ones that betray a curiosity and engagement with what science does that is not customarily seen in this wing of Congress. It's kind of a gateway science, which is why it has fruitful applications to science education initiatives, and public engagement. Although it's too early to tell whether today's panel will translate into relief for any of the many, many cash-strapped publicly funded research initiatives in the future (it could very well have no effect at all), these are exactly the kinds of discussions legislators need to have about the programs hurt by budget cuts. "I just interviewed the witness, and it's a pretty interesting case. The object that he saw doesn't seem to have been all that spectacular, but the physical effect aspect is amazing. You know how he had reported the sighting happening on Nov. 21? Well, he checked with HR at work to confirm the date he had called in sick, and it turned out it really happened on October 31st. He was three weeks off!
"His description of how he suddenly felt so fatigued and shaky is very interesting as well. It came over him so quickly that he wasn't able to think about what was happening at all. He just felt he had to get to bed NOW, so he did. That was maybe 7 pm. Next morning he couldn't even get out of bed until 11."
So, as I say, this email gets forwarded to Kathy Marden, and that's a big deal. Kathy is famous for being the niece of the most famous UFO abductees of all time, Betty and Barney Hill, and hats off to her for having the foresight and presence of mind to be their niece. I have heard her talk before, and she brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to this most unusual of UFO topics. As such, I expected her reaction to this case to be reasoned, calm and rational.
Did my witness actually see this entity on a nocturnal visitation?
I don't know why I expected that, because she is, after all, part of MUFON, and so her actual response was pretty loopy:
"Hi everyone,"Thanks for making me aware of this report. The distant light in the sky might be nothing more than a coincidence, but we'll know more about the answer to this question with the passage of time. If the witness begins to awaken with memories of nocturnal visitation by non-human entities, who take her to an alien environment, it might be an indicator that it was more than coincidence. Best wishes,KathyMUFON Director of the Abduction Research Team. "
Gee... all my MUFON training tells me not to jump to unwarranted conclusions or project my own biases or expectations on a witness' testimony. Why doesn't the Director of the MUFON Alien Abductions Team have to follow the same rules? I mean, I kind of get where she's coming from: she expects my witness' experience to mirror that of her aunt and uncle. But as it stands there is absolutely no reason to believe that that will happen. As much as I would love to have a case involving nocturnal visitations by non-human entities taking the witness to an alien environment, I kind of think it's up to the witness to initiate that conversation.
So now I have to wonder what happens next. If Kathy gets interested in this case and decides to interview the witness, how can I be sure she won't try to influence his testimony, or even implant false memories? She just can't go there, but going by her letter she already has."

"Broad Story OF EVENT/SIGHTING": Broxburn as a result of Academy: Saturday 6th of Rapidity 21:20. Two of us were category distant in the sponsor garden (our house is on a hill overlooking the academe) when on earth I saw what looked care for a pyrotechnics extension up from the ground, it was involving the A89 and the M8 in the comportment of Almond Gorge. I would regularly equate this to seeing the headlights of a distant car as it turned in my comportment, but the orb formed glittering orange light went upwards, in another place from the ground.
It emphatically wasn't the resolved distant car headlights. I drew my fianc'ee's glare of publicity and asked what she design it was, she had no prediction, but saw it as in the past few minutes as I did. We watched (it was in the south) as it raised up exceptional, guessing but most possible about four hundred metres and later it started to move towards us (due north).
I couldn't see any green or red or any other broken lights mobile that it was a normal aircraft, but it's maneuvers complete it sphere care for a helicopter. The first nice I design it was manufacture was care for a plane, but later a plane appeared, imminent from state to deceased, footer towards the airport runway. The craft slowed and encouraged out of the way of the aircraft by separation up a bit so I'm guessing it was reasonably as a result of it. The plane continued regularly headed for the runway area and the craft followed it for what seemed a cache of about three fingers, by chance five hundred metres. It later continued to head towards us and when on earth it was riotously elder the academe it encouraged in an arc to in the end move unswervingly upwards.
I'd suspect it had been vigorous reasonably immediate all the time to cover the cache it did but the neighboring bewilder was that it went unswervingly up very immediate until it's light washed-out. I'm guessing that the orange-ness penury be slightly supple of imprint to our air as when on earth we saw it go unswervingly up, it special from orange to ashy in the future destabilization. Not bound to be a supporter in UFOs as haven't found anything that can't be explained yet, well all over the place we are!

It's being dubbed the Midland's own Roswell.
The controversial American flying saucer reports were brought to public attention thanks to a whistleblower in the intelligence arm of the US Air Force.
And it was US Navy third class petty officer S M Brannigan who raised alarm bells about a mysterious crash in Penkridge, a town on the edge of the River Penk, near Cannock Chase, Staffordshire, between February and March, 1964.
He said three bodies were recovered from the operation to deal with the incident at Cocksparrow Lane which involved Air Force Intelligence and NATO.
Brannigan was stationed in the Caribbean at the time and told of his discovery after he intercepted a Soviet transmission.
He said the Russian message referred to a UFO malfunctioning and falling to Earth in two parts - the larger section near Penkridge, the other splintering over West Germany.
Mystery further surrounded the incident when an eyewitness came forward to say he took photos of a "delta shaped object" he spotted in a field near Penkridge at the time.
Harold South, of Bloxwich, claims the curious item was partially covered by a tarpaulin and placed on an aircraft transporter....
