In an interview with http://www.thetimesnews.com/, a couple from North Carolina talked about the footprints they found and their experiences with the Finding Bigfoot crew.
Bernadette and Leonard Braley spotted some muddy footprints on the road about 50 feet from their home on Quartz Court in Gibsonville last October. They took photos of what they thought were 16-inch muddy footprints and then forgot about them for a few months. When the Animal Planet Finding Bigfoot crew heard about the muddy footprint photographs, the Braleys were invited to Troy to talk with the group. The crew said they were doing some filming for a six-part series on Animal Planet called "Finding Bigfoot".
"When Animal Planet got there, they went crazy when they saw the pictures," Bernadette Braley said. "They wanted to come to our house and do filming for their series." The BFRO investigators, the production crew and several others spent a day with the Braleys in March, asking questions, filming and trying to recreate the footprints.
The Episode Guide for the June 12th episode of Finding Bigfoot description mentions "convincing pieces of bigfoot footage from the past 40 years."

Thatcher, who died on 8 April aged 87, was 19 months into her first term as Prime Minister in 1980 when US airmen at the nuclear-armed twin airbase RAF BENTWATERS-WOODBRIDGE reported 'unexplained lights' (UFOs) hovering above RENDLESHAM FOREST in Suffolk.
The 'Rendlesham Forest' incident happened at the height of the Cold War when tensions in Poland - then behind the Iron Curtain -were reaching crisis point. In the years that followed, the Ministry of Defence drew up secret plans to base US cruise missiles at RAF Greenham Common and US airbases in eastern England and was keen to avoid drawing attention to a persistent story about a UFO landing near one of them.
MoD always claimed the UFO incident was 'of no defence significance' but until I obtained a copy of their closed file on the case in 2001 - using a precursor to the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT - the results of their inquiries into the strange sightings remained shrouded in secrecy.
The file revealed their conclusion that '"it was highly unlikely that any violation of UK airspace would be heralded by such a display of lights...[we] think it equally likely that any [Soviet] reconnaissance or spying activity would be announced in this way."'
But before these plain facts entered the public domain UFOlogist and internet gossip columnist GEORGINA BRUNI revealed that she had quizzed Thatcher face-to-face about her knowledge of UFOs and Rendlesham.
The bizarre conversation took place in London at a charity cocktail party during 1997, shortly after the former Prime Minister had returned from an engagement in Washington DC. At the time Bruni was working on a book that she hoped would expose 'the truth' about Britain's Roswell.
Seizing the opportunity, Bruni asked her opinion on UFOs and claims that world leaders knew about the existence of alien technology. She received this response:
"'YOU CAN'T TELL THE PEOPLE'"
As Special Branch guards and husband Dennis listened, Bruni asked if she was referring to UFOs. According to her account published in 2001, the following exchange then took place:
'Determined to pursue the questioning I stood facing her and, almost in a whisper, I said, "UFOs and alien technology, Lady Thatcher."
"You must get your facts right," she answered.
"What facts?" I wanted to know. In a worried tone of voice, but with her usual composure, she repeated,
"YOU MUST HAVE THE FACTS AND YOU CAN'T TELL THE PEOPLe."
That was the end of the conversation. Bruni - who died in 2008 - shook Thatcher's hand, thanked her and the Prime Minister was escorted out of the room, followed by her bodyguards.
Bruni was so impressed by this 'admission' that she used the phrase "You Can't Tell the People", despite its ambiguous status, as the title of her 2000 book that publishers Macmillan promoted as '"the definitive account of the Rendlesham Forest incident"'.
As a believer in UFOs and conspiracy theories, Bruni's gut instinct was Thatcher, like Winston Churchill and other world leaders, had been briefed on the defence threat posed by UFOs and aliens. She mused: 'If Britain was under threat...Thatcher would want to know all the intricate details...What were the facts she was referring to and, even more importantly, why should she insist that the people should not be told about UFOs?'
In the second edition of the book Bruni revealed she was, as a result of her research into the mystery:
'...convinced that they [UFOnauts] are time travellers from our future or another dimension...that would account for why there is a reluctance from our governments to reveal the truth about these encounters. How would you tell the people that there is an intelligence far more advanced than we are, who are capable of creating such incredible technology?' (p406, paperback edition)
Several attempts were made to obtain an explanation of the phrase 'you can't tell the people' from Baroness Thatcher's office, without success. But a persistent UFOlogist, the late Eric Morris, extracted one plausible explanation from the former PM's personal assistant Mary Wakeley.
In a letter dated 12 November 2001, that Morris later donated to my archive, Wakeley insisted that the comment '"you must first get your facts right"' was one '"that Lady Thatcher regularly uses in almost all circumstances and therefore it would be no surprise that she might have said the same on this occasion".'

She adds:
'However, I do not think one should read too much into it - as the author [Bruni] obviously has done.'
Wakeley reveals she was familiar with the UFO story as she notes that 'you will not be surprised that this matter has been raised before.'
Although this anecdote appears to have impressed Bruni's publishers, like many UFO-related yarns, it does not stand up to critical scrutiny.
It could, for instance, be argued the 'facts' referred to by Thatcher were those contained in the MoD's policy assessment - used to justify the closure of their UFO desk in 2009 - that UFOs as alien craft did not exist but those who believed in them would never accept that disappointing conclusion.
"So this was more a case of 'don't let the facts get in the way of a good story' rather than a clue to the puzzle of Britain's Roswell incident."
A well written article, but I disagree with Dr. Clarke on a couple of things:

As Stanton Friedman says, "Not all UFOs are flying saucers, but all flying saucers are UFOs."
And not all flying saucers ( or flying triangles ) are interstellar craft. Some might be time machines.
And that might be worth kept secret by certain world leaders.
But we'll never know.
YOU CAN'T TELL THE PEOPLE?: MARGARET THATCHER AND UFO SECRETS

It's no surprise Oregon has its share of Bigfoot encounters; including paranormal Bigfoot events. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the town of MIllersburg, Oregon, (about forty five miles north of Eugene) experienced some very strange events involving a white Bigfoot or "BHM" (Big Hairy Monster) with a lot of high strangeness surrounding the encounters.
The creature was called the "Creature of Conser Lake," also the "Ghost of Conser Lake" (because of its white color) and the "Monster of Conser Lake," the lake's name was Conser at the time, but isn't called Conser Lake anymore, the name has been changed and is on private property. I'm not revealing the name of the lake out of respect to the owners.
Reported as a bigfoot type creature; about seven feet tall, bipedal, white shaggy fur, the creature mystified Millersburg residents for over a year. The story begins with a story of a UFO or strange light crashing into Conser Lake in either 1959 or 1960. Soon after the strange light crashed into Conser Lake, a Millersburg truck driver was understandably startled to find a white, shaggy furred bigfoot type creature trotting along beside his truck as he was driving down the road. The driver, a mint farmer, was going about 35 miles an hour; the creature was easily keeping pace with the moving vehicle.
The creature was described as being about seven feet tall. The mint farmer described the creature as a "shaggy gorilla." Local Bruce Hamilton remembers the creature in Conser Lake, and a story about a "young couple driving by the lake; a seven or eight foot creature ran alongside their car."
As if the truck farmer's experience wasn't odd enough, "another" report of a tall, white furred shaggy Bigfoot type creature running alongside side a truck made its way into the news. This time the creature was seen in Telephone, Oregon, in Eastern Oregon. (I realize the town doesn't seem to show up on maps or Google searches, as I have found, and a recent e-mail alerted me to. However, this is the name cited by several sources. Many small "towns" are not listed, also, it's possible the name has changed, the area incorporated, or simply disappeared over time.) Witness C.A. Cissman saw a bright light approach, hover about 30 minutes, then disappear, shooting upwards and disappearing within seconds. Later, in Prospect, Oregon a logger was shocked to see a white furred, Bigfoot or Bigfoot type being, leisurely jogging alongside his truck on a deserted rural road.
Stories of Bigfoot running alongside cars aren't new, either. A report from 1926 tells of a Bigfoot creature encounter in Yankton, Oregon: "Bigfoot following alongside a truck looking in. Sheep and children would disappear." (UFO Casebook) It seems there was a history of bright zipping lights and white Bigfoot -- or white somethings -- following cars and trucks in Oregon.
Other reports of white Bigfoot creatures can be found; for example, Chris O'Brien writes in his Secrets of the Mysterious Valley about a "New Mexico cattle inspector" who told O'Brien:
he watched with binoculars a white bigfoot clamor up a rocky slope.. a witness in Washington "reported seeing a Bigfoot with large pointed ears" (p 231 Secrets of the Mysterious Valley, Christopher O'Brien)
The reference to "pointed ears" is interesting; Flix, our creature in Conser Lake, was also described as having pointed or "cat like" ears. A "ten foot white Bigfoot" was seen on the banks of the Ohio river in the 1960s. In fact, sightings of a white Bigfoot in the area were reported from the 1900s to the 1990s.(The I-Files: True Reports of Unexplained Phenomena in Illinois, Jay Rath)
Peter Guittilla's The Bigfoot Files contains stories of white BHM or Bigfoot like creatures that transcend the flesh and blood variety. Guittilla references an account from Fate magazine out of Peter Bottom, Arkansas. In 1966 reports of a "monster" living in the Bottom emerged. The creature was described as being nine feet tall with snow white fur. Aside from giving off a strong smell, the creature "made a sound like a radio signal... the signal sounded like 'beep, beep, beep." (The Bigfoot Files, p 86)
The synchronicity of the white bigfoots is intriguing, along with the mysterious lights in the sky. As far as the Conser Lake "monster" goes, witnesses reported feelings of disorientation, dizziness, severe headaches, and hearing loud thuds and running footsteps right by them but no source for the sounds. Some insisted they were in telepathic communication with the being, who said his name was "Flix" and was from outer space.
Flix was Bigfoot like in many ways, yet there were other characteristics described by witnesses that are strange. Flix was said to have claws and or webbed feet and hands and cat like ears.
There are some similarities with Bigfoot; the height, bipedalism, shaggy fur. As noted, there were other similar beings in Oregon scattered throughout the state. But enough high strangeness episodes take the idea of a strictly flesh and blood creature out its comfortable unknown animal category, and into the truly Fortean or esoteric. All the above noted incidences: UFOs or bright lights, telepathy, sounds with no visible source, feelings of disorientation, and the synchronicty of similar creatures adds up to something beyond a flesh and blood Bigfoot.

It is believed Leif Erickson the Viking might have been the first European to see a Bigfoot when he landed in Newfoundland around 1000 AD, describing encounters with huge hairy men, with a horrible odor and piercing shrieks. L'Anse aux Meadows is a Newfoundland archaeological site found in the 1960s. This is the only known village settlement by the Vikings in this area around 1000 AD. That region was inhabited by Native people from back to 6000 BP. Native people who surely had dealt with the local Bigfoot.Is it possible that the Vikings landed on a continent that had two tribes? One Native American and one being Bigfoot? If and upright human-like being can manage to stay well hidden from man, showing a good degree of intelligence, then when we refer to Bigfoot, are we not referring to the "other" tribe of the Americas?

There's a new article from me at "MYSTERIOUS UNIVERSE" which takes a trip into the past, and the early years of flying saucers. It also delves into tales of a certain, alleged, alien base.

"In his 1997 book "Remote Viewers", Jim Schnabel told the story of the U.S. Intelligence community's involvement in the controversial issue of psychic spying that largely began in the early-to-mid 1970s. Commenting on the skills of a talented remote-viewer in relation to matters of a UFO nature, one Pat Price, Schnabel noted Price was of the opinion that '...Alaska's Mount Hayes, the jewel of a glacial range northeast of Anchorage, housed one of the aliens' largest bases.'

His next film, the virtually unseen UFO story Point of No Return steered Hunt into the more commercial territory of horror and science fiction. It was here that Hunt would finish out his career with 1988's fun amalgam of genre clichs, The Brain.

The only thing they say were very large tracks in the snow, larger than human.The second sighting was on Fire Road 371 on Cheyenne Mountain in July 1986 near NORAD. This was an actual sighting of a humanoid form by a Marine on training. The creature was 6.5 feet tall, had light brown fur, fox like eyes, long arms and walked upright.The third sighting was in November of 1997 near State Highway 24 six miles west of Manitou Springs. A Bigfoot sighting alone the highway on a ridge.The fourth sighting was 5 miles south of State Highway 115 [Red Hill] in December 1999. It's kinda funny, yesterday I wrote about how Bigfoot was a 'second tier' movie monster, and how the creature just wasn't getting enough credit. Well, oddly enough, I have yet another Sasquatch "splatter-fest" to tell you about.

Baack had this to say about his film, "The Bloody Rage of Bigfoot", "Plain and simple. We are shooting quite possibly the bloodiest film of all time."
