UFO SIGHTING IN OAKVILLE, ONTARIO ON AUGUST 1ST 2013 - 3 ROUND ORBS EACH FOLLOWED SAME FLIGHT PATH 10 SEC. APART FOLLOWING SAME PATH WITH 2 CHANGES IN DIRECTION DECENDING THEM ASCENDING
I am a pilot with my own aircraft and have followed aviation since a young age. I know most aircraft as seen from a distance day or night. Two of us were sitting in the back yard facing N. towards Toronto Int. Airport. I stood up to stretch and notices a bright yellow light high and to my left which at first I thought was an engine fire on a jet at about 15,000 ft. It was descending towards us and as it got lower it seemed ball like and the yellow flickered to orange. The solid orange colour then flickered deep red and then solid red. It then turned left about 30 degrees and levelled off at about 3000 ft. passing in front of us left to right. As it passed to our right it turned left again 30 degrees and started to climb faster. As it rose in the sky the red flickered to orange, then solid orange which flickered to the original yellow colour. As it gained speed it turned to white like the look of Jupiter and then clearly sped off at a speed which I could not even believe. This first orb took about 1 min. When it left the two of us started to talk in somewhat a shocked fashion. 10 sec. after this sighting in came the second one fallowing the exact same path with one change. The last turn before climbing out was about 2 miles sooner than the first. This one turning to climb somewhat in line with the airport. The third orb started 10 sec. after the second, followed the exact same sequence of the first 2 and again the final turn to climb was 2 miles before the second orb. All of the craft made no noise, descended, made 2 turns and climbed in the same manner. They were identical in their colour appearance changing from yellow to orange to red, flew level and reversed colour change as they climbed. The size was of a golf ball at arms length. The flight path was intelligent, highly accurate, and repeated 3 times. I had a clear sense that there was a craft and it was shrouded by this vapour which was a reaction to our atmosphere thus the colour change as it moved through the thicker or thinner air. The odd part about this time was as I stood up at the beginning of this event I was about to say I had not seen or heard a departing jet for 10 min. That is unusual for the area we can see is the normal departure end of the active runway at a very busy airport with 2 min. spacing for departures.

On Friday night (11/9) at around 7:30-7:45 local time I stepped outside to have a cigarette before getting ready to go to a movie at 8:30. My girlfriend and I were standing on our back porch which looks out to the Northeast. Just as we were about to go inside, I noticed off in the distance a string of four red/orange lights in the sky. I stopped for a moment and then pointed them out to her. As we stood and watched, the lights began to move from East to West, keeping the same distance from each other and moving the same speed. We have several trees in our back yard and a several houses behind ours, but these things were just in the perfect spot where we could see them clearly. As we watched for a few seconds, we noticed the one that was farthest West went behind a tree and we could no longer see it, but as they continued to move, it never reappeared. At the same time, another light appeared from the East side moving in formation with the rest. This continued for a couple of more minutes. As one would disappear to the left side, another would appear on the right. It looked as if these lights were all part of one giant thing that was rotating in the sky. The lights themselves were moving in a semi-circle, but would never leave the path. After a couple of more minutes, my friends who I was going to the movie with came out to see what was taking me so long and I pointed the lights out to them. The immediately agreed that it wasn't normal and stood with us watching for another five minutes. Before long several of the lights never returned. Soon it was just one light moving across the path until that one disappeared as well. The lights themselves were just a solid red-orange color. They did not change color, blink or change size. Where we live we see planes going in for a landing at the airport all the time and it certainly was not a plane or a helicopter. Just taking a stab in the dark, based on the fact that planes were flying through the sky, I would say it was probably a good 10 to 15 miles away from us. Based on where we were looking and how far away I think it was, it must have been near the Marais Temps Clair Conservation Area.

The Indian Army and Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) have reported unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, according to a report in the latest issue of news weekly India Today. An ITBP unit based in Thakung, close to the Pangong Tso Lake, reported over 100 sightings of luminous objects between August 1 and October 15 this year, says the magazine report headlined 'Mystery sighting spooks soldiers'.
In reports sent to their Delhi headquarters in September, and to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), ITBP officials described the sighting of "unidentified luminous objects" at day and by night. The yellowish spheres appear to lift off from the horizon on the Chinese side and slowly traverse the sky for three to five hours before disappearing.
These were not unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones or even low-earth orbiting satellites, say army officials who have studied the hazy photographs taken by the ITBP. Drone sightings are verified and logged separately.
Such mysterious lights have been sighted before in Ladakh, a barren, 86,000 sq km heavily militarised zone wedged between Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir and Chinese-occupied Aksai Chin. The persistent sightings by the ITBP this year, however, worried the army's Leh-based 14 Corps.
In September, the army moved a mobile ground-based radar unit and a spectrum analyser - that picks up frequencies emitted from any object - to a mountaintop near the 160-km-long, ribbon-shaped Pangong Lake that lies between India and China.
The radar could not detect the object that was being tracked visually, indicating it was non-metallic. The spectrum analyser could not detect any signals being emitted from them. The army also flew a reconnaissance drone in the direction of the floating object, but it proved a futile exercise. The drone reached its maximum altitude but lost sight of the floating object.
In late September this year, a team of astronomers from the Indian Astronomical Observatory at Hanle, 150 km south of the lake, studied the airborne phenomena for three days. The team spotted the flying objects, army officials say, but could not conclusively establish what they were. They did, however, say that the objects were "non-celestial" and ruled out meteors and planets.
'UFO' sightings have not been uncommon in Ladakh over the past decade. In late 2003, 14 Corps sent a detailed report on sightings of luminous objects to the army headquarters. Army troops on posts along Siachen had seen floating lights on the Chinese side.
Scientists say the mysterious objects are not necessarily from outer space. "There is no evidence of 'UFOs' being of extra-terrestrial origin," the magazine quoted reputed Pune-based astrophysicist Jayant Narlikar, as saying. "The implication of them being alien objects is fancy, not fact."
UFO sighting was reported in the Lahaul-Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh, south of Ladakh, in 2004, by a five-member expedition of geologists and glaciologists led by Dr Anil Kulkarni of the ISRO's Space Applications Centre at Ahmedabad. On a research trip to the barren Samudra Tapu Valley, they had filmed a four-foot tall 'robot-like' figure, that 'walked' along the mountain ridge, took off vertically and disappeared in the sky when excited scientists moved closer. Kulkarni had sent his report to the Union government but the 'UFO encounter' remained a mystery.

With a nudge from De Void's FOIA request, the Air Force has located and released long-withheld research papers on its investigation into the bonding properties of titanium with other metals. They contain at least one unanticipated blurb. But what it means ain't exactly clear.
Those records - generated by Battelle Memorial Insitute on contract with Wright-Patterson AFB in 1949 and initially designated for "Limited" distribution - couldn't be found just four months ago by archivists at either facility. Slugged "Second Progress Report on Contract AF33 (038)-3736," the 60-plus pages forwarded to De Void had evidently been languishing at the Defense Technical Information Center in Fort Belvoir, Va. Roughly 30 percent of the docs are still unaccounted for, due to more than 50 years' worth of film-storage deterioration cited by DTIC.
And obviously, a Second Progress Report implies the existence of a a First. Hopefully, another FOIA will resolve this little mystery.
The missing papers were noted this spring by Sarasota researcher Tony Bragalia, who contributed a sizeable appendix to the "Witness To Roswell" (Thomas Carey and Donald Schmitt, New Page Books), a sad and sobering retrospective on the intimidation tactics aimed at those who participated in recovery operations.
Bragalia was following up on remarks made by the late retired USAF general Arthur Exon in a 1991 book, "UFO Crash at Roswell." Exon was a junior officer at WPAFB in 1947 when military cleanup crews allegedly shipped spacecraft debris there. He went on to become base commander in 1964.
Exon never saw the stuff, but he stated that parts of the wreckage - some of which was described as a foil-like material that flattened into its original shape after being wadded up - had indeed been forwarded to Wright-Pat. "It was titanium and some other sort of metal they knew about," he said, "and the processing was somehow different."
Bragalia wanted to establish a paper trail between Nitinol - an amazing memory-retention alloy of nickel and titanium officially produced by the Naval Ordnance Laboratory half a century ago - and the Roswell incident. That would be a major coup, given the links between memory metals and future NASA technologies.
Among other places, Bragalia's journey led him to the name of E.J. Center, a research chemist at Battelle from 1939-57 who died in 1991. The following year, former Battelle employee Dr. Irena Scott was told by a mutual friend that Center, in 1960, said he'd been tasked to evaluate "unique metal" that he understood to be Roswell debris, samples of which were impressed with incomprehensible glyph "writing."
Center apparently said little more, and the anecdote can be easily dismissed as hearsay.
What's interesting is how Center co-authored a subsection in the "Second Progress Report" titled "Analytical Methods for Titanium-Base Alloys." His name hadn't turned up in any of the indexed references to the heretofore missing papers.
Maybe it's coincidental, and downright unsurprising that a man in his field should be part of team investigating cutting-edge technologies. Either way, what's clear in the "Progress Report" is that two years after Roswell, Battelle scientists were working intensely to exploit the elasticity of new alloys.
Bragalia's analysis of this latest development is worth a look. It won't resolve anything, and objections to the circumstantial case he continues to pursue will surely be debated. And that's the whole point.
