Another feature of this book which will be familiar to those examining paranormal claims is the escalation of claims until they strain the boggle ceiling of even the most open minded. Among those included here is that Lee Harvey Oswald was programmed from childhood onward by CIA mind controllers, that Kennedy's body was altered before the autopsy, that the Zapruder film was altered and so on.

A detailed examination of the aerial phenomenon or phenomena which exploded over the Tunguska region of Siberia on 30 June 1908. He claims that there are many anomalies which mean standard explanations in terms of stony meteorites or even a comet head are unviable, and that much of the research and study on this phenomenon has never been available in the west. If all the anomalies claimed here are correct, then it would seem to have been something very anomalous indeed. That does not mean it is likely to be an extraterrestrial 'star ship' as the Rubtsov hints but never quite says. It strikes me as implausible to say the least that such a star ship would involve a technology which just seems a century or two ahead of our own, and as to the latest theory that one star ship shot down another, that seems rather like something out of Star Wars.

The team, Ben, Ryder, & James, goes to Fresno, CA, to check out triangular UFO sightings. They talk to witnesses, one of whom thinks he saw one crash, and he has some fuzzy video, too. They poke around the desert and a strange abandoned tunnel at night and see cars/vans that may (or may not) be watching them. Some believers say there is a hidden underground base in the area. They talk to another witness who claims to have been burned from watching a UFO. They talk to another pair of witnesses who have a fuzzy nighttime video of lights in the sky. They set up for another night investigation near the airport, where strange (?) lights are seen. Ryder goes poking around a remote section of the airport and apparently provokes a flyover by a military helicopter. (They also spot the International Space Station zooming by.) Researching later, they find the abandoned tunnel was used to build a hydro electric plant. Running the plates on the suspicious white van yields nothing (at least by Ryder). Unfortunately, they fled from the other mysterious vehicle, rather than approaching it. Tests on the items of the "burned" witness show nothing unusual. Turns out the 144th wing of the Air National Guard is stationed in Fresno, but James thinks there are still UFOs here. Ben & Ryder believe that the sightings are a combination of misidentified civilian and military aircraft.
After two shows, this series shows promise, though they need to stop looking for evidence (other than lights in the sky) at night, and start searching places during the day. Too many of these shows feature 2 night-shot segments per episode, to no good end. Apparently, this is going to be one of them.

Hi Brian, I was curious to find your UFO page, which closely, carries similar descriptions, to my "UFO" sighting last night, as mentioned below.
On the 31st of December 2012 at approximately 11:30 p.m., 1 orange orb was observed in the Western sky above Johannesburg South Africa, and moving too slowly to be a plane or helicopter.
It hovered for a while and slowly moved on and disappeared in a southwestern direction.
About and hour later, after midnight and New Year, 3 additional orange orbs approached from the North East and moved very slowly overhead.
These orbs had an orange colour to them with a red haze which appeared to move around the circumference in a hap hazard manner.
A very much larger black object then moved overhead and appeared to swallow up the one orb and then disappeared out of sight. The other 2 orange orbs slowly disappeared to the South West in the direction of the very first orb.
None of these objects could of been a plane or helicopter as there was no noise. I believe they were also too high to be a lantern as we were able to compare their altitude with a few wispy clouds.
This experience was observed by 5 sober adults on a clear night with a fairly full moon.
I was unable to get my camera in time which is unfortunate, however I was totally mesmerized by the experience.

As I worked on a new book about the UFO secrets found in various government files, I was scanning one of the Project Blue Book microfilms, searching for a specific case. As the files slipped by I thought I saw the words "Moon Dust." I stopped and reversed course much more slowly. On one of what they called the "project card" which was a short summary of the case, I did see the term Moon Dust.I located several different project cards that contained "Moon Dust" references. In those few files, I found indications that there was coordination between Blue Book and Moon Dust, at least briefly. Several of the cases do reference Moon Dust though they seem to have conventional explanations, at least according to the information in the file.The first of these cases came from Ramey Air Force Base (which was not named for Roger Ramey of Roswell fame), Puerto Rico on September 15, 1960. This file, which noted one of the addressees on the message as Moon Dust, said:Round object with a tail, size reports vary from the size of a pea to half dollar, color reports vary from bluish-white to dusky red. Tail aprox [sic] 3-5 times the size of the object. No sound. Object reported to have broken up into several fireballs. One report stated that object finally fell into ocean.It is possible that this object was a very slow meteor. However it is more probably a reentry of the 1960 Epsilon vehicle, parts of which reentered during Sep and Oct 1960. Epsilon had an inclination of 64 [degrees], therefore the heading would be about 26 degrees.A series of sightings on September 21, 22, and 23, 1960, from Bermuda, were listed as "ATIC possible Mon [sic] Dust. The witnesses are identified only as civilians. The case said, "Reported sightings by local people of dull orange object on 21, 22, 23 Sep [sic] accompanied by weird [sic] whirring sound, in evening."The original message said that further investigation was being conducted but no follow up information had been received. There was insufficient data for any sort of scientific analysis and I suspect that if anything interesting was found, it would not have become part of Blue Book. I also suspect that if nothing more was found, no one bothered with a follow up report. Another of these Moon Dust cases took place on September 23, 1960, at Bitburg AB, Germany. The source of the sighting was listed as "Moon Dust." It said:Luminous streak, like shooting star, colors red and yellow. Object left a trail. Object appeared very suddenly and was red in color, gradually changing to bright yellow. Appeared much larger than meteor... Path momentarily broken and when reappeared was red in color, no smoke but numerous sparks.Description conforms to satellite reentry. As to direction, color and breaking up. 1960 Lambda II (rocket body) reentered this date. Case evaluated as satellite reentry based upon general description, although duration of sighting was omitted.This seems to be a reasonable explanation, especially since there was documentation to back up the solution. A few days later, on September 26, 1960, northeast of Bermuda, an object that was yellowish-green and described as a "falling star or object" was seen.A teletype in the Project Blue Book files, received on 26 Sep 60, said, "PD Moon Dust falling star or object sighted by GULL special at 0527Z 26 Sep." There was no explanation or definition of Gull. It might have been the name of the mission or the name of the witness. It was in sight for one second.A Moon Dust case, like these others, meaning with little information, came from Thule, Greenland. A teletype message said, "Bright comet like object presumably MOONDUST sighted at Thule AB Greenland... on 24 Sep 60. Estimated elevation less than ten degrees. Direction: Appeared from south east and disappeared into the west... Observed time 5 seconds." It was written off as a possible meteor.Finally in September, a sighting was made in Wethersfield, England. The teletype message said, "Flare-like appearance, light green to white in color. Travelling northwest to southeast." It was noted that the "Information too limited for valid conclusion."These cases are of importance because of the connection to Moon Dust. It proves that Moon Dust had a UFO component but more interesting is the fact that after this point, that is late 1960, I have found no other references to Moon Dust in the Project Blue Book files. This doesn't mean that someone else might not find such a connection, just that I didn't find one. My mission, at the time of the discoveries was research on a book about the secrets in the government files, so my research took in a wide range of government organizations. Just think how vast that target is.These were cases that I stumbled across as I worked on one chapter of the book, but of course, will be found in the chapter in which I deal with Moon Dust. I believe that research will add to our knowledge of that project, taking us beyond what has been reported in the past.

I saw a V-shaped, transparent UFO in October of 2005, in Throckmorton, TX, a small, rural west Texas town. I was looking for shooting stars, and instead, I saw a 5-star upside-down V, gliding across the nighttime sky.

I followed it as it moved, and as I turned around to keep following it, it disappeared right before my eyes! My cousin, who was with me, witnessed this as well.
At other times, I have had other encounters, seeing strange, slow moving crafts that would come at a standstill, then zoom off at an angle out of view.
All of these sightings have been in the exact same town. Other people in that town have seen strange things like that as well.
I have heard about the military making crafts that would almost mimic the slow moving, the hovering, but I do not think that the military would have a craft that would be able to blend in with its surroundings!
Do we even have the technology for that?!

UFO SIGHTING IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA ON JULY 23RD 2013 - TORREY PINES GLIDER PORT OBJECT
I was having lunch with my wife at the Torrey Pines Glider port and I snapped a few photos of the parasailers with my Fuji X100 camera. A few days later when I downloaded the images onto my computer I noticed a dark smudge in 1 frame of my images. The image was made with a Fuji X100 camera which has a fixed lens and is sealed to outside elements which ruled out dust or dirty sensor. I have no idea what it is but appears to be moving at a high rate of speed and appears to be below the clouds.

UFO SIGHTING IN SEATTLE, WASHINGTON ON JUNE 22ND 2013 - OBJECT TRAVELLING EAST TURNS SOUTH AND FADES INTO HAZE
I was not expecting to make another report so soon after a life altering sighting less than a week ago, yet here it is. As with the days ago sightings, I was on my porch smoking late at night, and sky-watching, which is something I've been doing a long time. Earlier in the day, knowing that a 'supermoon' was rising, I went out to observe it, and noted that 'chemtrails' were being laid in the night sky, which has been happening a lot lately. It is also maddening for star watchers like myself. I keep having the thought- Is there something in the night skies that someone does not want us to see? I am seeing a disproportionately high amount of odd phenomena on the very few clear viewing nights that have been available, and I don't exactly live outside and look constantly for these things. Odds are, I am seeing maybe 1% of what is out there, and yet I am still seeing a lot. I feel dutiful to report these sightings. For all I know, I or my partner and I, are the only ones in the whole city out there looking up in the middle of the night on a pretty regular basis. I hope we aren't the only ones. Please forgive the narrative...here's what I saw- The earlier haze was still in the sky, but most stars were now visible. I was facing West and just when I looked straight up, my eye caught an object rapidly moving East. I watched as it went straight overhead, and then without changing speed, abruptly changed direction in a rounded turn to the South, a turn far too fast and tight for any plane or jet to make. It was impossible to determine altitude, except that it appeared higher than the highest jets fly, and perhaps as high as satellites are. It was visually about the size of Mars, but very white. After it turned South I watched it until it eventually faded into the background haze, with total eye contact of aprox. 24 to 26 seconds.

JANUARY 01, 2013 - NEW ZEALAND - A new book has revealed rare historical gems buried in New Zealand's national archives, including a bizarre WWII plan to create a "tsunami bomb" and military files detailing supposed UFO sightings. Author Ray Waru said he wrote "Secrets and Treasures" to highlight the material publicly available at Archives New Zealand in Wellington -- where almost 100 kilometres (62 miles) of shelf space is crammed with historical artefacts. "It was totally overwhelming at the beginning," he told AFP. "I knew I wanted to get in the important things, the Treaty of Waitangi (New Zealand's founding document), the Declaration of Independence, the women's suffrage petition, and a few other things. "But once you start digging, one story leads onto another and I'd just follow my nose."
The suffrage petition Waru refers to contains 36,000 signatures and was dramatically unfurled on the floor of the New Zealand parliament in 1893 by supporters of women's right to vote. Stretching for almost 300 metres (980 feet), the petition, currently undergoing restoration, proved successful and led New Zealand, then a British colony, to become the first country in the world to grant women the vote later that year. Alongside notable historical documents, such as a letter written by explorer captain James Cook before his final voyage, are curiosities like "Project Seal", a top-secret US-New Zealand attempt to create a doomsday device to rival the nuclear bomb. The project was launched in June 1944 after a US naval officer noticed that blasting operations to clear coral reefs around Pacific islands sometimes produced a large wave, raising the possibility of creating a "tsunami bomb". Explosive tests carried out in waters north of Auckland led scientists to conclude that the weapon was feasible and a series of 10 massive blasts offshore could create a 10-metre (33-foot) tsunami capable of inundating a small coastal city.
"It was absolutely astonishing," Waru said. "First that anyone would come up with the idea of developing a weapon of mass destruction based on a tsunami... and also that New Zealand seems to have successfully developed it to the degree that it might have worked. "I only came across it because they were still vetting the report, so there it was sitting on somebody's desk (in the archives)." Waru said the project was shelved in early 1945, despite the success of initial, small-scale tests. "If you put it in a James Bond movie it would be viewed as fantasy but it was a real thing," he said. Among the other oddities in the archives are Defence Department records of hundreds of UFO sightings by members of the public, military personnel and commercial pilots, mostly involving moving lights in the sky. Some of the accounts include drawings of flying saucers, descriptions of aliens wearing "pharaoh masks" and alleged examples of extra-terrestrial writing. New Zealand's most famous close encounter was when a television crew recorded strange lights off the South Island town of Kaikoura in 1978. However, in a disappointment for ET spotters, the military concluded the lights could be explained by natural phenomena such as lights from boats being reflected off clouds or an unusual view of the planet Venus. Waru said it was seemingly humdrum documents, like school magazines from the early 1900s extolling the virtues of the British Empire, that provided a window into the attitudes of the past. "There's masses of records and kilometres of important files but you realise pretty quickly that every piece of paper is related to an individual at some point in time," he said. "So it gives the modern researcher a peek into the private lives of individuals, which I found interesting -- divorce files from Dunedin, letters a young soldier wrote home to their parents." - TERRA DAILY.

New this year was Nick Pope, the former British ministry of defense head of UFO investigations, exploring the alleged alien contact on a military base in England.
