My girlfriend went outside to have a cigarette and called me outside that's when we saw it. To the southwest we saw blinking lights it was basically cigar shaped with red and white lights flashing in sequence. It was no more than a 1000 feet up and about 3/4 of a mile from us. It hovered in place with no sound or other emissions we watched it for maybe 10 minutes then itccompletely vanished.
