Ufo Crash In Texas
Okay, I have to admit that I was a little skeptical when I heard on the news that they would be talking about a possible UFO crash in Texas, especially given the fact that last week two satellites collided. I figured they were just using the word UFO as a hook and that the story would conclude that the object that crashed was simply debris from the satellite collision (after all they did warn pilots to be careful of debris from the crash while flying). So, needless to say, I was pretty surprised when within the first couple of seconds the news reporters quoted a federal official as saying the object that crashed into Texas and left a huge area of scorched earth in the middle of a field had nothing to do with the satellite crash and that they have no idea what this object was. Of course they didn't give the name of this federal official or state what agency they work for, so who knows if it is an accurate statement, but it does make one wonder what in the world this object could be, not to mention instill thoughts on a similar incident that happened in Roswell, New Mexico back in July of 1947.

My guess is they will probably conclude that this was a meteor (or is it meteorite once it hits the Earth?) and not a UFO crash, but still the idea that it could be is pretty cool, especially for UFO enthusiasts. Also, if they do conclude that this was a meteorite, it probably won't get rid of the idea that it could be a UFO and that some agency is just covering it up. Who knows, maybe in fifty years people will be talking about this 'UFO crash' the way they talk about Roswell. Or maybe they won't because I doubt the military will actually come out and say they recovered a flying spaceship to the newspapers and then change their story a week later, which is one of the reasons people still talk about Roswell. Either way it is an interesting news story, one which will probably be updated many times over the next week as investigators try to figure out what crashed into a field in Texas.

For more on Roswell check out my article titled Roswell and see what I mean by the military changing their story.
