Initially thought it was plane, as have not observed satellites so large. Considered the plausibility of object being satellite sufficiently low, even though event was an hour or so after sunset, and satellites moving from SW to NE may be readily observed at that time. Aircraft, blinking lights and all, were observed over city while event occurred. Object did not change in appearance. Object changed bearing about half way through event from NE to ENE. Object was huge/bright. Elapsed time seemed a couple of minutes, so was likely 60-80+ seconds.
